Re: 70% off sale on SILVER
Different (totally) market forces at work this time around. The 79/80 run had silver dragging gold up with it. Gold benefitted from the Hunt's play in the silver market. Gold is in the lead this time and silver (warehouse) supplies are not being drained rapidly as in 79/80.

Silver @ $50 was a historical blip.
By the same reasoning, a person could also say that tulip bulbs are quite the bargain. |

PPT in "CAHOOTS" with FED/US TREASURY printing 18% new money per year "tends to RAISE" the "stuff" prices. Like oil over $100 on the way toward $150, $200, $250, and probably $300 (on the barrel head) a barrel. Gas $3.50 toward a 3-year run or so - @ $10.00 a gallon - too. Guess those 200,000 private military independent contractors cost a BUNDLE; so much for the draft. 200,000 times $200,000.00 (tax free) a year each is a couple of BUCKS! Right? 400 BILLION? How about the "medical" and benefits packages too. Double that or triple it! 1.2 trillion? Silver is a PRECIOUS METAL which actually turns into MONEY as it runs up with GOLD or vise versa. |
Re: 70% off sale on SILVER
you can keep saying this over and over again but if its as you say and the cartel is strong enough to keep the POS down this long, why not longer? I like silver but wont park too much there.

Re: 70% off sale on SILVER
that was a good buy... with silver at around 15.3 you basically paid spot for the silver content of those peace dollars, plus any personal collectors value they have to you.
I enjoy those small, impulsive silver purchases, especially when they're a good deal for that quantity. Makes me feel like my money is going toward something other than feeding, clothing and entertaining my bloated and out of shape body... haha |
